Leader Training for Health Professionals
Training programs for health professionals and peer leaders
If you're a health professional that treats people with musculoskeletal conditions or someone with a musculoskeletal condition that takes classes for your peers then you'll be interested in the range of training programs for health professionals and peer leaders we run.
Designed to assist you in better meeting the needs of people with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions, as well as generally promoting good health and wellbeing our courses also cover some of the knowledge and skills applicable to the needs of people with other chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and asthma.
Our warm water and chair-based training programs are conducted by health educators with tertiary qualifications in health related disciplines, as well as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Tai Chi leader and update training programs are conducted by registered Master Trainers with respective accrediting organisations.
The training programs are accredited by Physical Activity Australia and/or Fitness Australia, and professional development points are awarded on completion.
