Almost 50 years ago, a passionate rheumatologist called Les Koadlow decided we could do better.
Newly diagnosed patients kept coming to his clinic totally overwhelmed, isolated and confused about where to start. A stalwart believer in the benefit of ‘real people helping real people’, he set up Arthritis Victoria – a place for those living with musculoskeletal conditions to get informed and get supported.
MOVE muscle, bone & joint health works to support the 6.8 million Australians living with more than 150 different conditions all across the country. The services have evolved, but our heart is unchanged - people are the soul of our organisation.
