MOVE Launch 2016

Wednesday 15 June 2016 marked the beginning of an exciting new era to improve musculoskeletal health for all Australians with the launch of MOVE muscle, bone & joint health at the MCG. We were overwhelmed with the positive feedback from everyone that attended.

Here’s a snapshot of the event!

“Clearly we need organisations like MOVE. We need to get people to get behind MOVE to send a message about what we can do to help prevent muscle, bone and joint disease. And that is that these conditions can be prevented, you can prevent them from happening and you can prevent them from deteriorating.”

- Brian Lake 3 times Hawthorn premiership player

“At age 24 being a goal keeper, I hope to continue to the age of 40 and it’s incredibly important to think about your health.”
- Lawrence Thomas Premiership winning goal keeper for Melbourne Victory

“I’m really happy to support MOVE muscle bone and joint health and I think it’s a great initiative!”

Muscle, bone and joint health is absolutely critical to mobility and independence and this is how we connect with our communities. MOVE provides the background and framework for educators, researchers, patients, policy makers and doctors to come together to create a much better way of managing this condition.”
