Tips for Driving and Travelling

Muscle, bone and joint conditions can make it difficult to drive or use public transport. Persistent pain and joint stiffness can impact a person’s ability to get in and out of a car, fill a car with petrol and drive or travel for long distances.

Issues with transport can affect people’s ability to continue working as well as impacting on a person’s ability to stay connected – with family, friends and the community as a whole.

We have developed the following information resources to provide you with practical strategies for driving, using public transport and travel in general. This was made possible through a grant from the RACV Community Foundation.
